Scheduled messaging allows you to send a newsletter to a bot that accepts subscribers to your channel on specified days and times. The newsletter is sent at the selected time. If you don't check "Send only once," the newsletter will be re-delivered each time the user unsubscribes and then resubscribes to the channel.

Let's take a closer look at the form for adding a scheduled mailing:

Name

The name of the newsletter is for your convenience.

Mailing type

Select the “Schedule” mailing type

Date and time

Select the dates and times to send the message.

Spot

Specify the spot(s) to which the mailing should be sent.

Editing rights

Select employees who can edit this newsletter.

Send only once - the newsletter will be delivered to the user only once, regardless of the number of subscriptions and unsubscriptions from the channel.

Rights of deletion

Select employees who can delete this mailing list.

Text

Enter the text of the message to be sent. Available macros:

{name} - username

{link} - the offer link specified in the Spot , in the Deals tab. This macro is useful if you want to insert an offer link, but your campaign includes multiple spots and each has a different link (⚡️Note: the macro name must match the name you specified in the Deals tab).

{manager} - manager link. This macro is useful if you want to insert a manager link, but your mailing involves multiple spots and each has a different link. The link will be taken from the Communication Channel field in the Spot settings.

{channel_link} - the channel link specified in the Spot. This macro is useful if you want to insert a channel link, but your campaign involves multiple Spots and each has a different link.

Click the "Add" button and you're done! Users will receive the newsletter at the specified time.

*We recommend creating newsletters at least 5 minutes before sending.

*If you change the spot in the campaign settings, it stops working—especially if you try to relaunch it on a different spot. This also applies to copies: the campaign only works with the spot it was originally specified for. Therefore, if you need to launch a campaign on a different spot, it's best to create it anew rather than copy it.
